Kvyat: "“It was pretty boring for me out there this afternoon, because a combination of circumstances meant I had to just sit back and was unable to attack. I had a completely new car, so that wasn’t so easy. We had difficulties with the tires, the brakes and the overtake button, which made life complicated."
Ricciardo: “I think this was our best chance of a win and we got close, so we can be proud of what we did. We have made the most of our opportunities here. At the start Seb just went away and then I was coming back to him and if it hadn’t been for the Safety Car, we’d have got pretty close and maybe an undercut would have been possible at the pit stop. Making both stops under the safety car affected our chances, and I think that dictated the race really."
Daimler and the Renault-Nissan Alliance today broke ground for their joint-venture manufacturing complex, COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes), in Aguascalientes in central Mexico, which will build next-generation premium compact vehicles for the brands Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti.
Infiniti today announced its global sales of 16,900 vehicles in August, an increase of 19 percent over August 2014. This marks the best August in Infiniti's history, and Infiniti has now reached a 12-month streak of best individual months on record.
