INFINITI today reported sales of 18, 198 vehicles in the U.S. during December, an increase of 21 percent, making this its all-time greatest sales month. For the year, INFINITI also reached a record level with 138,293 vehicles sold, an increase of four percent over 2015.
INFINITI today reported sales of 11,413 vehicles in the U.S. during September, an increase of 11.7 percent versus prior year for its best September ever. With 4,359 vehicles sold, the Q50 Sports Sedan had an increase of 22.5 percent for its all-time best September.
Infiniti achieved a new global sales record in August. Total sales of over 17,150 were up 2 percent vs August 2015 representing the best ever August result. From January to August, Infiniti sold almost 145,000 vehicles, an increase of 6 percent versus the same period in 2015.
Infiniti finished the first half of 2016 with a new sales record. The company sold more than 110,200 vehicles, an increase of 7 percent over the same period last year. In the month of June, more than 19,300 vehicles were sold, up 15 percent versus June 2015, and in the second quarter of the year (April-June), Infiniti set a new record with almost 53,000 vehicles sold representing an increase of 4 percent.
Infiniti today reported sales of 11,058 vehicles in the U.S. during June, an increase of 10.7 percent versus prior year. The QX50 luxury crossover had its best month ever with an increase of 305 percent to 1,689 units.
Infiniti continues its strong momentum, setting a new global sales record in May. The brand sold approximately 18,000 vehicles around the world last month, an increase of 3 percent over May 2015 and representing the best-ever May sales performance in Infiniti’s history. Year-to-date, Infiniti sold about 91,000 vehicles globally, up 5 percent compared to the same period last year, setting another sales record for the company.
