Infiniti continued its successful sales performance with an exceptional month of October when the company sold more than 18,400 vehicles globally, an increase of more than 3,000 vehicles, or 20 percent, over October 2014.
Daimler and the Renault-Nissan Alliance today broke ground for their joint-venture manufacturing complex, COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes), in Aguascalientes in central Mexico, which will build next-generation premium compact vehicles for the brands Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti.
Infiniti today announced its global sales of 16,900 vehicles in August, an increase of 19 percent over August 2014. This marks the best August in Infiniti's history, and Infiniti has now reached a 12-month streak of best individual months on record.
Infiniti sold a record 103,500 new vehicles around the world in the first half of 2015, up 13 percent over the same period last year. On the back of a best-ever sales performance in 2014, Infiniti delivered another all-time high result and for the first time sold more than 100,000 vehicles in the first six months. The brand also set records in China, Asia & Oceania, and EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), as well as many key individual markets including Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and Australia.
At this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed (FoS) in the UK, Infiniti debuted a new stand, a new location and customer interest levels exceeding those of even the previous year's successful achievements. Infiniti, currently seeing record sales increases in the UK, welcomed visitors to the "Infiniti Shapes the Future" stand on each of the four days of the FoS.
